The next Michigan species card is here. This time it's for the Silky Dogwood (
Cornus amomum). This species is pretty easy to identify when fruit is present, but it can be a challenge early in the year before flowers and fruit are present. In May 2013 I wrote a post about
how to tell the difference between Silky Dogwood and the similar Red-Osier Dogwood (Cornus sericea).
