What is it?

I photographed this last week.  What does this look like to you?

I think it looks like waves breaking apart into foam.  In reality it's a pattern of air bubbles that I found trapped in ice in the parking lot at work.

This is not the first time I have photographed ice in the parking lot.  One of my favorite photos of 2015 was taken under similar conditions.  Interesting photo subjects can be found anywhere if you look.
